Bernhard Wiesinger was born 1981 in Vienna/Austria and entered the Musikschule Poysdorf at the age of seven. In June 2005 he graduated with honors from the Vienna City Jazz Konservatorium. Subsequently, he participated in a two-semester postgradual program at the Berklee College of Music in Boston/USA. Bernhard received his Master´s Degree in Saxophone from Konservatorium Wien University in 2008. He was a member of the MM Jazznachwuchsförderung 2007 and Saxophone docent at the International “Jazz & Wine” Seminar Poysdorf in 2006 - 2009. Bernhard Wiesinger has played in China, the USA, Italy, Germany, Slowakia, Luxemburg and the Czech Republic. He has collaborated with, among others, Juraj Bartos, Jamie Davis, Marianne Mendt, Jon Davis, Aaron Wonesch, Joris Dudli, Fritz Pauer, Klemens Marktl, John Di Martino, Reinhard Micko, Erwin Schmidt, Geri Schuller, Christian Havel, Simone Kopmajer, Marin Reiter, Manfred Holzhacker, Robert Bachner, Hans Zinkl, Anthony Wonsey, Johannes Herrlich, Milan Nicolic, Thomas Kugi, Mark McKnight, Teddy Ehrenreich Big Band, Richard Österreicher Big Band, Karl Markovic, Karl Merkatz, ...
